Class: Hatha, 60 and 90 minutes.

Katerina teaches a series of strengthening asana, held for a longer period of time, to nourish and detoxify the body. Complimented with pranayama (breath work) to bring the mind back to a calm state.

My favourite pose is: anything that gets me upside down. I find it so grounding to have my head below my heart, so that my heart can start to lead my actions. 

The book I admire most is The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. It reads easily like a fairytale but the message portrayed is so much deeper and heart opening than any other story could be. 

The booster food that keeps me going is bananas. Being vegan I eat a lot of bananas, mainly in smoothie form. They are high energy, digest easily and taste so sweet.
